Some of the first lucky students to check out Kindles on September 2, 2011!

We have 12 Kindles circulating this year in the Albion Middle School Library!

All the Kindles are available for students to check out and take home.

There are 2 types of Kindles--Black and Red


  • The Black Kindles have the following Young Adult books loaded on them: Forge, Anything But Typical, Wrapped, Stealing Freedom, Matched, Crossed, Reached, Maze Runner, Scorch Trials, Death Cure, Kill Order, Give Me Liberty, Incarceron, Sapphique, Johnny Tremain, Charles and Emma, House of Silk, Left to Tell, Soldier's Secret, Ungifted, I am Number Four, The Power of Six, The Rise of Nine, The Lost Files: The Fallen Legacies, The Lost Files: Six's Legacy, The Lost Files: Nine's Legacy, The Fall of Five, The Light, The Black, The Blood, Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, A World Without Heroes, Seeds of Rebellion, Chasing the Prophecy, Red Pyramid, Throne of Fire, Serpent's Shadow, Magyk, Flyte, Physik, Queste, Syren, Darke, Okay for Now, Shooting Kabul, Bomb: The Race to Build and Steal the World's Most Dangerous Weapon, Flygirl, Stop Pretending, Shiver, Linger, Forever, Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase to Catch Lincoln's Killer.

  • All 12 Kindles also have 186 Classic books loaded on them including children's, young adult and adult classics and religious texts such as the Torah, Koran, Bible, etc.



Books purchased in February 2012 were funded through a 100% for Kids grant--thanks to the Utah Credit Union Education Foundation.



You must sign an Acceptable Use agreement and have a signed parent permission slip in order to check out a Kindle.

After you have read with a Kindle, fill out the Kindle survey--tell the library what books you read, and what books you want us to put on the Kindle next!
If you have your own Kindle, Nook, iTouch, or iPad, Mrs. Bates can download 186 Classic books on your device! Bring it in!
